Get to Know
Dr. Meghan Valdes

Originally from Miami, Florida, Dr. Valdes was raised in a large Cuban family where Spanish was her first language. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Florida in 2015, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Her dental education brought her to North Carolina, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina Adams School of Dentistry in 2019. At UNC, Dr. Valdes met her now husband, Dr. AJ Nicopoulos and they have been married since 2021.

One of her greatest passions is being able to give back to the community. While in dental school, she started a free volunteer dental clinic, Vidas de Esperanza, located in Siler City, NC.

Since 2019, Dr. Valdes has lived in Hendersonville and has worked as a dentist in Brevard.

When she is not in the office, you can find her appreciating the wonderful outdoors. She enjoys hiking and biking with her husband and her two dogs. She is an avid reader and also loves to salsa dance.
Dr. Valdes is looking forward to continue serving her community and is excited about meeting all of the patients at Vibrant Dental!

Vibrant Dental

When you first walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted with a smile by our friendly front desk team. We’ll make sure you’re comfortable, and you’ll have time to ask any questions you might have about your oral health and what we can do for you.
